Improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve
IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE
That is the Morongo Basin Healthcare District's mission statement. One of the many ways we seek to fulfill that mission is to provide needed resources to community members for their improved health and well-being.
The healthcare District presents two Community Health and Resource Fairs each year in partnership with the Town of Yucca Valley (May) and the City of Twentynine Palms (October). These events present opportunity for personal health screenings, donating blood, and a considerable representation of local and regional resources.
Health-related organizations are invited to participate in this community event. There is no fee to participate.
Saturday, October 9 | Luckie Park, Twentynine Palms
10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
After a serious break in tradition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are ready to celebrate health! The healthcare District and City of Twentynine Palms have partnered to bring Morongo Basin residents this Community Health and Resource Fair. Join us for a day of health!
Get FREE health screenings, access local and regional resources, give blood, and enjoy a FREE lunch. There will even be some kid activities. The Mobile Medical Unit will be onsite where clinicians will provide COVID-19 vaccinations and testing.
Again, this year, as an incentive to visit vendor booths, the healthcare District will offer a small gift for collecting stickers from vendors.
