Morongo Basin Healthcare District to Host Return of ‘Flying Doctors’
*At this time all vision appointments are fully booked, and we are scheduling dental appointments only. Appointments are strongly encouraged, and walk-ins for dental or vision will be accommodated only as space is available.
Free Dental & Vision Care at One-Day Event
The Flying Doctors are returning to the Morongo Basin, bringing FREE dental and vision services to the Bell Center at Copper Mountain College, Saturday, March 9th, from 8:00 a.m. to
3 p.m. No documentation is required to receive care; however, children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Volunteer Dentists and Hygienists will be on-hand providing cleanings, fillings and extractions.
Volunteer Optometrists will provide eye exams; clients may select new prescription eyeglasses available on-site. Those with eyeglass prescriptions less than one year old may bring them to the event to receive a new pair of eyeglasses.
Appointments are strongly recommended by calling (760) 820-2614 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space permits.
The event is sponsored by the Morongo Basin Healthcare District in collaboration with Los Medicos Voladores (LMV) aka The Flying Doctors, and Healing California with support from Copper Mountain College and the Joshua Tree Elks.
