WHO WE ARE

About Us

Believing that healthy behaviors are important to residents of all ages for quality of life, the Morongo Basin Healthcare District seeks to address health and wellness issues for children, adolescents, parents, adults, and seniors in realizing its mission to improve the health and wellness of the Morongo Basin.

In fact, it’s our mission statement: “The Morongo Basin Healthcare District seeks to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve.”

A healthy Morongo Basin means that all members of the community have access to basic healthcare resources, health education and activities related to nutrition and food choice, physical activities and social support for the family.

Implementing that vision and encouraging healthy behaviors means improving access to ambulatory care services such as primary medicine for adults and children, preventive medicine, and dental care. Through the services of the Morongo Basin Community Health Centers, patients are offered access to a growing list of specialty services.
